Hawthorn is often reached for in times of heart trouble — chest pain, anxiety with mild heart palpitations, risk of cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, and grief. Hawthorn is often referred to as a vasodilator, meaning she opens the blood vessels that more blood can flow through the heart and supports general heart health.
Plant Profile: Linden
As tall grasses come up to meet the palm, the writst twists and trailing fingers brush through grass heads, releasing pollen and moths and a cloud of midges to dance in the hot afternoon sun. Near our home is a great linden tree standing along the fruiting borders of the hedgerow.
