Hedgerow Herb Co. was founded by folk herbalists who know that herbal medicine is and always has been the medicine of the people and that the people have a responsibility to take care of each other in whatever ways they can. This type of care supports thriving communities of people who are well and feel a sense of belonging to place, a group, or simply their own bodies.

What do your donations go towards?

  • Many grassroots organizers collect herbal medicines after disasters such as Hurricane Helen and the LA Fires. Your donations to our fund allow us to send remedies to who are affected by disasters such as these, folks in need of good medicine.

  • We offer discounts to mothers with little ones, teachers, and elders. Your donations support these discounts.

  • With these donations, we are able to offer discounted or free tickets to classes and events to folks in need, while ensuring visiting teachers and collaborators are paid in full for their service or offering.

  • These funds are given directly to people and organizations who are dedicated to and working in the fields of historical and ecological preservations such as folk schools, keepers of crafts, ecological restoration projects.
