Join Sylvia & Tristan Eden of Leodrune Press for a live reading of their book, RED FEAST: Experimental autumn-tide lore & praxis. Distinct from conventional discourse around seasonal ritual, the book explores the beauty and intensity of Autumn as it is now, in a changing, volatilizing climate. Together we will move through poetry, myth, science and ceremony to uncover the occult virtues of the rain-soaked, molting landscape. Complimentary soul cakes will be available at the event to accompany Hedgerow's refreshments.
"As the Land half-dies, the heavenly and underworldly powers grapple, and we stand between them. Autumn is an upheaval, an arising of spirits, which offers many chances for numinous encounter. Be present to witness these moments of holiness unfold. Be willing to toss your own bones into the year’s grave."
Doors open at 6pm. Space is limited for this event. Please purchase your ticket to secure your spot.
ABOUT LEODRUNE PRESS
Leodrune Press is a small independent publishing house based in the Pacific Northwest. Our publications explore ritual, myth, and mysticism through a decidedly ecological lens, in response to the volatilizing climate we have inherited and the careful conduct being asked of us all. Our aim is to provoke readers to root down into the vital subsoil of Earth, beneath all traditions and orthodoxies, to experiment with raw, reciprocal ceremony.
