Medicinal Uses:
Hawthorn  is used most commonly to support healthy heart function and lower blood pressure. For those who have a history of heart disease in their family lines, hawthorn is a wonderful tonic. It is helpful for lowering cholesterol (in conjunction with proper diet) and in cases of valvular heart disease. The flowers are astringent and may be helpful for sore throats. They are also used in skincare. 

Preparation & Dosage: Acute/Severe cases, tincture (1:5, 40%) 3-5 droppers, 3xday. Maintenance dose is 2-3 droppers, morning and night. To make a tea, simmer 2 teaspoons of herb per 1 cup of water for 20-30 mins. Drink 1 cup 3x/day.
