Cellar Spider Hymnal, Leodrune’s eighth and latest publication, was written in service to those ancient intelligences inhabiting the corners of our homes. Part poetry, part prose, the author climbs through deep geologic time with the Arachnids, exploring the mass extinction events that shaped them (and us)—introducing the unique species which live alongside us as synanthropes—and recounting an unexpected instance of cross-species communication.
