You will learn basic techniques and patterns with the freedom to explore your personal style and creativity. MEET YOUR FACILITATOR
Sylvia Friday is an itinerant basket maker, folk artist, storyteller and teacher. Gathering sticks and sharing stories, she tends wild plants and teaches basketry up and down the west coast. The spirit of her work is woven from her relationship with fiber plants, with her ancestors and with the basketry community. She loves to help people develop a relationship with natural materials and with their hands.
